You can work towards four triangles then your Brigader Brooch in your journey through the Brigader Section.
Each year you will work towards a triangle badge. The 1st triangle is red, the 2nd white, the 3rd blue and the 4th gold. See The Girls Brigade website to view them by clicking here.
Four sections of the programme must be completed for you to gain 8 points which is needed to gain a triangle. The four sections are Educational, Physical, Spiritual and Service.
We will work through each section having fun, being creative, challenging ourselves with new ideas and meeting the aims of the sections to gain our triangles.
If you have been in the Girls’ Brigade since P1 it and gain all the awards including Duke of Edinburgh and Queen’s Badge your arm band would look like this:
(Full Brigader arm band containing Explorer Stars, Junior Circles and Diamonds, Company Title and Service Award, detailing the years of service to the Company. All other awards can be earned in the Brigader Section, or in the case of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and the Queen’s Award, as a Leader as well.)
