Church Notices for week beginning 4th March
We welcomed Mrs Lesley Richmond to lead our service this morning.
As today was the first Sunday in the Fairtrade Fortnight we had a small stall of Fairtrade items for sale at the close of the service.
Notices for this week
Monday 5th March – Floral Art Class meets at 7.00pm. For those who are attending this class there is an information leaflet listing the materials required on the magazine rack in the church vestibule. If anyone is having trouble sourcing any of the materials required, please see Edith.
Tuesday 6th March – Knit & Natter Social Time meets at 10.00am.
Games Afternoon for the young & not so young meets in the hall at 2.00pm.
Rainbow Tribe & Spectrum meet from 6.00pm.
Thursday 8th March – Soup & Sweet Lunches are being served from 11.30am to 1.30pm. Home baking, Jams etc for the stall are required, as are prizes for the Tombola & all will be gratefully received.
Also on Thursday The Girls’ Brigade will be meeting at 6.00pm.
Saturday 10th March – Annan Churches Together are holding a Spring Fayre in aid of Annan Medical Centre in our church hall between 10 am & 12.00 noon. Admission is £2.00. Home baking, jams etc. are required for this event & will be gratefully received.
Next Sunday 11th March (Mothering Sunday) – Church Service & Sunday Seekers is at 10.30am. The service will be led by Revd Haydn Higton.
For those that are interested in finding out more about Walking the Way there are still a limited number of leaflets available at the front entry. Should you wish to have one please take one.
St Andrews Parish Church are presenting Mercy Buckets in Noah’s Park on the 8th, 9th & 10th March. Starting at 7.00pm. This is a sequel to last year’s hugely successful All Aboard the Ark. If you wish further details please see the poster on the noticeboard at the Front Entry to the church.
Dried, tinned & packaged items for the Food Bank & prizes for the Tombola are required. Contributions can be left in the marked boxes in the church vestibule.
