Church Notices for week beginning 3rd September
Our service this morning was lead by Revd Haydn Higton, who also took our Girls Brigade Enrolment service.
Monday 4th September — Fund Raising & Social Committee meets in the hall at 2.00pm.
Floral Art Class meet at 7.00pm. For those that are attending this class there is an information leaflet listing the materials required in the pink folder on the magazine rack in the church vestibule.
Also on Monday there is a meeting of Annan Churches Together at 7.00pm in The Beacon on Bank Street.
Tuesday 5th September — Knit & Natter Social Time meets at 10.00am.
Games Afternoon for the young & not so young meets in the hall at 2.00pm.
Rainbow Tribe & Spectrum meet from 6.00pm
Thursday 7th September — The Girls Brigade meet at 6.00pm
Saturday 9th September — There is a Gaelic Awareness Day in the hall from 12.30pm until around 5.00pm. You will get the chance to learn a little basic Gaelic & a couple of Gaelic songs. The cost is £15.00 which includes tea, coffee & baking.
Next Sunday 10th September – Church Service & Sunday Seekers is at 10.30am, when the service will be led by Mrs Sue Jackson.
Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal. We still have a lot of empty shoeboxes to be filled for children for Christmas. Please take some from the table at the back of the church.
We also have a number of children’s woolly hats & a few woollen pencil cases which are free to take away & can be included in your shoebox.
Food Bank & Tombola. A reminder that dried, tinned & packaged items for the Food Bank & items for prizes for the Tombola are still required. Contributions can be left in the marked boxes in the church vestibule.
