Notices for coming week
Monday 26th February – This is the start date of Fairtrade Fortnight which will end on Sunday 11th March.
Tuesday 27th February – Knit & Natter Social Time meets at 10.00am.
Games Afternoon for the young & not so young meets in the hall at 2.00pm.
Rainbow Tribe & Spectrum will be meeting from 6.00pm.
Thursday 1st March – All friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service for Wilma Brown which will take place in the church at 10.45am & thereafter to Roucan Loch Crematorium. Donations if so desired may be given at the close of the service for the RNLI & MacMillan Cancer Support in memory of Wilma.
The Girls Brigade will meet at 6.00pm
Friday 2nd March – The World Day of Prayer service is being held in our church at 2.00pm. Refreshments will be served after the service & contributions of home baking are required & would be most gratefully received.
Annan Churches Together ‘Fridays in Faith’ meets from 7 to 8.30pm in The Hub, Ednam Street.
Next Sunday 4th March– Church Service & Sunday Seekers is at 10.30am. Mrs Lesley Richmond will be leading our worship. This will be a communion service.
As Sunday 4th March is the First Sunday in the Fairtrade Fortnight, we will have a small stall of Fairtrade items for sale at the close of the service.
For those that are interested in finding out more about Walking the Way there are a limited number of leaflets available at the front entry. Should you wish to have one please collect a leaflet from there.
St Andrews Parish Church are presenting Noah’s Park on the 8th ,9th & 10th March; starting at 7.00pm. This is a sequel to their highly successful All Aboard the Ark. If you wish further details, please see the poster on the noticeboard at the Front Entry to the church.
Annan Churches Together are holding a Spring Fayre in aid of Annan Medical Centre in our church hall on Saturday 10th March between 10 & 12.00 noon. Admission is £2.00. Home baking, jams etc. are required for this event & will be gratefully received.
Dried, tinned & packaged items for the Food Bank & prizes for the Tombola are required. Contributions can be left in the marked boxes in the church vestibule.
